KOTA KINABALU: A senior citizen, H’ng Mooi Kee, 60, could not believe her luck when she won a Perodua Axia car yesterday.
H’ng from Inanam said she initially thought that the SMS she received about her winning the car in the Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) Premium Saving Certificate (SSP) draw was just a scam.
She said it was her daughter who called the bank’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur and got the confirmation.
“The SMS turned out to be true and I did not expect to win again after winning RM100 cash from two draws before,” she told reporters here today.
The prizes for the BSN SSP Draw winners were presented by Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor and Sabah BSN Business Director Laudin Sundang.
Laudin said this year, BSN offered 13 Perodua Axia cars each month for winners in the local SSP draw.
“Customers will be eligible to participate in the SSP draw with a minimum saving of just RM10,” he said, adding that there were 472 BSN agents in Sabah. --BERNAMAT
