Jcorp to distribute 30,000 books

PUTRAJAYA: Johor Corp (JCorp) will be distributing 30,000 books and knowledge materials worth RM1.0 million to selected educational institutions in the peninsula from this year until 2017 under its ‘Book For Asia’ programme.

JCorp president and chief executive Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kasim said at the launching of the programme here today that institutions in areas where JCorp companies operate would be given priority.

He added that its companies KPJ Healthcare Bhd and Klinik Waqaf An-Nur would help in the distribution.

The programme was launched by Deputy Education Minister Datuk Mary Yap Kain Ching. -- Bernama
