JOHOR BARU: Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios (PIMS), the largest independent integrated studios facility in South East Asia, has appointed Rezal A. Rahman as chief executive officer of Iskandar Malaysia Studios Sdn Bhd (IMS), effective today.
IMS is the company established to undertake PIMS' development.
Michael Lake, who has been the CEO of IMS since December 13, 2010 will become the Group managing director of Rhizophora Ventures Sdn Bhd.
Rhizophora Ventures is a wholly-owned company of Khazanah Nasional Bhd, and undertakes its creative content investment.
Lake will remain on the board of IMS, the company said in a statement.
Rezal is an experienced senior executive and worked closely with Lake over the past three years during the construction and operationalisation of PIMS.-- Bernama
