BUTTERWORTH: Two motorists suffered serious injuries after their machines collided head-on in an accident early today.
A police spokesman said the pre-dawn accident happened near a petrol station in Bagan about 5am.
He said the motorbikes rammed into one another from the opposite direction.
The spokesman said both men in their 20s are from Kubang Semang, near Bukit Mertajam.
Both men had bone fractures, broken arms and head injuries and were warded at the Seberang Jaya Hospital.
