Zul Ariffin hot tempered?

KUALA LUMPUR: POPULAR actor Zul Ariffin had a bit of a real-life drama with his fan recently.

The actor, who starred in TV3’s popular romantic drama Rindu Awak 200%, allegedly blew his top off and scolded a fan at the arrival hall of KLIA 2 recently.

“I didn’t scold him. I only stressed my points in a firm voice that he has to wait to have a picture taken with me. But he was too insistent, too impatient,” the 28-year-old Taiping - born said when met recently.

He explained that the fan approached him when he was with his family. When the actor asked to wait, the fan apparently urged him to hurry up.

“He should’ve been a bit patient. It wasn’t like the place was collapsing or anything. I was holding a bag and he demanded to have a picture with me. Wouldn’t it be better if I had put down my bag first?” he asked.

Zul also said that he would flatly say no to photo requests made in toilet. “A selfie in toilet is just no-no.”

“If they are too sensitive about small things like that, then it’s too bad.”

He added that there have been days that was in a bad mood when fans requested for selfies.

“It is not my style to be angry, so I would try to accommodate every request. But I hope they would also try to consider my feelings.”

Zul said he appreciates fans who want to take pictures with him.

“Fame does not last forever and I won’t be here for long. I appreciate every single moment I have with my fans. But please also respect my personal space especially when it involves my family.”

Zul cleared the air when met at the recent Astro event to launch its Ramadan campaign KosongKosong at JW Marriott Hotel here. Zul will start filming a drama series adapted from the novel Uda Dan Dara next Tuesday alongside actress Siti Saleha.
