SANDAKAN: A pistol and bullets were recovered by police in a raid at a squatter colony at Batu 3 here, yesterday.
In the 4am operation, police inspected a house and arrested four men aged between 20 and 53. They failed to produce identity documents.
Sabah Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chief Datuk Salehuddin Abdul Rahman said the firearm was found hidden in the corner of the house.
“We have also confiscated 16 bullets and two of the men have been tested positive for syabu,” he told reporters.
Salehuddin pointed one of them had previous records under the Immigration Act 1953/63 and Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 while another under the Immigration Act 1953/63.
