ALOR GAJAH: Three foreign construction workers were killed while six others sustained injuries, including three serious when the mezzanine floor of a building under construction collapsed in Pulau Sebang near here at 2.15pm today.
State Police Chief, Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye said all of the three men died on the spot.
“The trio killed were two Myanmar and an Indonesian national,” he said.
Chuah said initial report showed that the nine workers were removing the staging to the mezzanine floor when the structure collapsed.
All those injured had been sent to the Alor Gajah Hospital.
