12-year-old school girl missing since June 19

KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl who went missing after she fails to come home from school on June 19.

Wangsa Maju police chief Superintendent Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif said the victim’s 45-year-old mother had sent her daughter, identified as Jenifer Anthonysamy to her school in Kg. Pandan Dalam, here at about 6.30am on June 19.

“At about 4pm, the mother realised that her daughter was still not home. She met the victim’s friends to find out her daughter’s whereabout but she was told that Jenifer had left the school compound around 12.30pm.

“The victim was not seen at her additional tuition class scheduled on the evening,” said Roy, adding that a police report was immediately lodged on the matter.

Jenifer was wearing a school uniform when she went missing.

Acting on the report lodged, police had recorded statements from the woman and other witnesses but the victim has yet to be found.
