KUALA TERENGGANU: A partly decomposed body was found floating at sea by a group of fishermen about 12 nautical miles from Pulau Kapas in Marang yesterday.
Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) D7 Operation Director Simon Templer Tusa said the group has contacted the Agency to inform the incident at 12.30 noon.
Tusa said a team of officer from the Kuala Terengganu office were deployed to the scene and brought the body to the Pulau Kambing jetty.
"Then the body was sent to the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital for post mortem" he said adding that part of the body were missing.
He said no identification was found on the victim's body.
