JELEBU: Twenty-four out of 28 committee members and Pas Supporters' Congress from Jelebu division had quit their post and joined Pas splinter group Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) today.
GHB Jelebu division deputy chairman Muhammed Zabidi Abdullah said they had quit their post effective today, however, their membership would automatically be revoked after GHB's formalisation as a political entity.
Among those to quit are division chairman Basri Sawel and division vice chairman Idris Dusa.
Zabidi said to date they had 180 members and targeted 500 members by end of year.
