SHAH ALAM: A huge signboard at Batu 4, Jalan Meru, heading towards Klang near Setia Alam collapsed on the highway, at 6am today, making the road impassable to all vehicles except for motorcycles.
The incident resulted in massive traffic jam for more than five hours.
Klang Utara deputy police chief Supt Noor Omar Sappi said the signboard came down after a sand lorry's rear gate accidentally opened and hit the signboard.
"There was no casualty and we are now working to remove the signboard," he said when contacted.
