GUAR CHEMPEDAK: A collision between a lorry and a Perodua Kancil claimed the life of a 24-year-old woman here today, and left another seriously injured.
The incident occurred about 3.45pm at Batu 16, Kampung Padang Lumat, along Jalan Alor Star-Gurun here.
Both the 38-year-old driver and the passenger were trapped in the Kancil, and firemen managed to extricate them from the wreck.
The victims were then taken to the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital.
