Haze: Singapore air quality at unhealthy level

SINGAPORE: The air quality in Singapore remained at an unhealthy level today despite the gradual improvement on Sunday.

As at 10 am today, the 24-hour pollutant standard index (PSI) read was 99 to 118, in the high-end of moderate and unhealthy ranges, and the three-hour PSI was 149, according to the National Environment Agency (NEA).

NEA said widespread haze is still persisting in parts of central and southern Sumatra.

It said some haze from Kalimantan is also observed to have spread to the sea areas southeast of Singapore.
