GEORGE TOWN: A teenager was killed after the car he was in with two friends skidded and rammed into a tree at Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway, early today.
Timur Laut police chief ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said the victim, F.Jevastian Paravindar, 17, who was the front passenger, died at the scene after sustaining head and body injuries in the 12.30am incident.
He said their Proton Saga car was heading towards Bayan Baru from George Town.
The car’s driver and another passenger, both aged 22, suffered facial injuries and broken ribs. -- Bernama
