KUALA TERENGGANU: The 3-Star Band performing at the Primula Beach Hotel is making waves as perhaps only among two bands that are still active in the city capital.
Comprising vocalists Nicco Danish and Liawanis Kamaruddin, as well as keyboardist Mohd Shahrul the band is much sought after not only for functions at the hotel but elsewhere in the city.
Nicco is an experienced singer with 13 years experience and can belt out medleys of ever-greens, favourites, jazz, sentimental ballads and even rock.
Hotel sales and marketing manager Tina Surinda Karim said the band was currently doing its tour at the Bayu Lounge daily, except on Thursday, performing from 10.30pm till midnight.
“Owing to the band’s popularity, we have retained them for six months now. They are a versatile band and there is demand from our hotel guests for such an entertainment,” she said.
