41 arrested in anti-vice raids in Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested 41 people, including 19 foreign women working as guest relation officers (GRO) in Ops Noda and Ops Dadu in Selangor yesterday.

Principal assistant director of Anti-Vice, Gaming and Gangsterism (STAGG) Unit, SAC Khairi Ahrasa said they were arrested in nine premises in Shah Alam, Klang and Petaling Jaya.

“The police seized 112 computers and cash of RM3,081 in Ops Dadu and 148 condoms and cash of RM3,670 in Ops Noda.

“They have been active in carrying out their clandestine activities for the past three months. Not only they have regular customers, they also allowed only familiar faces into their premises,” he said when contacted today.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar also congratulated STAGG for the success via Twitter. --BERNAMA
