KUALA LUMPUR: A 12-year-old Yemeni girl was seriously injured when both her legs got caught in the doors of an elevator at an apartment in Taman Sepakat Indah 2, Sungai Chua, Kajang near here tonight.
Selangor Fire and Rescue assistant director Mohd Sani Harul said the incident occurred about 8.15 pm on the 14th floor of the apartment as she was returning to her house.
He said firemen who arrived at the scene after being informed of the incident managed to open the elevator doors and bring the girl out.
She was then sent to Kajang Hospital for treatment, said Mohd Sani when contacted. --Bernama
