BUTTERWORTH: A 75-year-old woman and her son, 45, were found dead in their house at Taman Mas here in Prai today.
In the 8.50am incident, the son's body was found hanging in a room upstairs while his mother was found dead on the bed in another room downstairs.
Seberang Prai Tengah district police chief Assistant Commissioner Rusli Mohd Noor said neighbours who saw the man's body hanging from outside contacted the police.
"Initial investigations show they both died around 1am early today.
"Investigations are still ongoing and police have classified the case as Sudden Death (SDR) as there is no element of foul play," he said today.
Both the bodies has been taken to Seberang Jaya Hospital for post-mortem.
