Mind your own business, PasMa tells Mat Sabu

GEORGE TOWN: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu or better known as Mat Sabu has been told not to poke his nose into other opposition party’s issues.

Persatuan Ummah Sejahtera Malaysia (PasMa) president Datuk Phahrolrazi Mohd Zawawi said Mat Sabu's comment — that Pas was being infiltrated by religious extremism and the Islamic State (IS) ideology -- was not necessary.

Asked if Mat Sabu's allegation was true, Phahrolrazi, who used to be a Pas stongman in Kedah, said he had no information about the matter.

"I have no information linking Pas with ISIS.

"I also have no information about the criteria linking Pas with Isis," he told reporters here today.

Yesterday, Mat Sabu, the former Pas deputy president, had accused Pas of being infiltrated by religious extremism and the IS ideology.

He said the spread of the extremist ideology in Pas was one of the reasons a group of progressive leaders, including himself, decided to leave the party and form Amanah.
