Man killed in Jinjang drive-by shooting

KUALA LUMPUR: A 41-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Taman Jinjang Selatan Tambahan, here, today.

No less than seven shots were fired towards the victim, who was in his car in the 2.30pm incident.

Sentul police chief Assistant Commissioner R. Munusamy said the gunman was in a pickup truck and had pulled up alongside the victim’s vehicle before firing.

The authorities are also investigating how many bullets hit the victim.

The body was sent to the nearest hospital for a post-mortem examination.
