MARAN: A school headmaster and his son were killed, while another son was seriously injured when their car collided with a lorry along the Temerloh-Jerantut road in Jengka 19 here today.
In the 1pm incident, Mohd Rozi Mat Sani, 48, who was the principal of SMK Jengka Pusat, and his son Mohd Adam, 10, died on the spot.
A police spokesman said the injured victim was identified as Mohd Afiq Zakuan, 18.
Mohd Zakuan was believed to have been behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
The spokesman said the victims' Perodua Kelisa was believed to have swerved into the path of oncoming lorry after the car had initially grazed another vehicle.
He said Afiq Zakuan was sent to the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
