IPOH: A 49-year-old man was electrocuted while he was installing an exhaust fan at a factory near Taman Pertama here today.
The lifeless body of Chai Koh Lim, 49, of Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah here was found lying on a steel platform at 12.33pm.
Several workers had to use a forklift to bring his body down.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said firemen rushed to the scene and helped ensure that the area was safe before the victim was handed over to the paramedic team
“Checks by the paramedic team confirmed that Chai had died at scene,” he said.
