MACHANG: A 54-year-old man died after being electrocuted while renovating his home here today.
The victim was alone on the roof of the house when the incident occured at Kampung Tok Kaya near Labok around 5pm.
A team of firemen from the district station rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 5.18pm.
Firemen took about 20 minutes to bring down the victim from the roof.
The body was later handed over to the police before being sent to the district hospital for a post-mortem.
Police have classified the case as sudden death.
