KUALA LUMPUR: Resorts World Genting will host a career fair called a “Rendezvous with Gourmet” at the resort’s fine dining restaurant, The Olive on Wednesday.
It is to promote career opportunities at the resort and inspire young people to join the hospitality industry.
Experienced professionals will be at the event to share their experience, knowledge and skills with those present.
New outlets opening soon at Resorts World Genting, such as the world’s first 20th Century Fox Theme Park, shopping malls Sky Avenue and Genting Premium Outlet, as well as a new cable car system, will create opportunities for young talents to build their career at these spots.
Those with work experience including sommeliers, baristas and mixologists are welcome to the event.
The career fair will feature brands from London, Paris and New York.
Some of the big names expected to be at the event are sommelier Kevin Yee and chef Steven Chou.
There will be a business chat segment for participants to talk to the resort’s food and beverage and human resource personnel.
