Nurul Izzah barred from entering Sarawak

MIRI: PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar has been refused entry into Sarawak today.

The Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament was barred from entering the state when she arrived at the Miri Airport at 9.40am.

Nurul Izzah took to her Twitter account to vent her frustration and posted the notice of refusal of entry issued by the State Immigration Department against her.

She also claimed she had sent a letter to Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem to seek entry into the state. State Immigration Department director Ken Leben could not be reached for comment.

This is the second time Nurul Izzah has been barred from entering the state.

It was reported last year that Nurul Izzah was not allowed to enter the state when she arrived at the Kuching International Airport on Dec 6.
