Harmony of Sarawakians will remain protected under BN

KUALA LUMPUR: The harmony enjoyed by Sarawakians will always be protected under the Barisan Nasional government.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the Sarawak leadership under the ruling coalition would continuously strive to provide the best for the people.

In a Facebook posting today, Najib said the freedom to practice their own religion would be guaranteed.

He also wrote: "The government will also provide help such as allocations to temples, mosques and churches for infrastructure development from time to time."

Protecting the harmony in the state was one of the pledges made by Barisan Nasional in their manifesto, along with ensuring the rights of the state is protected.

The coalition has also pledged to continue its dialogue between the state and federal government on the devolution of powers to Sarawak.

The prime minister shared several images on the coalition's manifesto for the state polls which will take place this Saturday.
