BEAUFORT: Police are hunting for a group of robbers who made away with RM70,000 after blowing up a cash machine here, early this morning.
In the 2.10am incident, the robbers escaped in a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
District police chief Deputy Superintendent Azmir Abd Razak confirmed the incident and said police are conducting a thorough investigation.
"Only one machine was blown up and we are looking at the closed circuit television footage.
"We believe there are more than two suspects," he added.
