TASEK GELUGOR: A suspected drug dealer was killed in an exchange of fire with policemen in Ara Kuda here this evening.
In the 4.15pm incident, a team of policemen had tailed the man's car for 5km before ordering him to step out of the vehicle.
Seberang Prai Utara district police chief Assistant Commissioner Azmi Adam said the man then fired several shots, hitting the police car.
"There was an exchange of fire and one of the bullets hit the suspect, killing him," he said.
Police found a pistol, 40gm of heroin and 3gm of syabu in the car.
