KUALA KANGSAR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi joined the "Ceramah Perdana" at Chandan Puteri here tonight, which featured popular Muslim preacher Datuk Kazim Elias.
Clad in a white jubah, Zahid arrived at the Mini Arena Square about 10pm and was greeted by over 3,000 Muslims, who are mostly from the constituency.
He also spent about 10 minutes mingling with the crowd at the ceramah, which was organised by the People's Volunteer Corps (Rela).
Also present were Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and Rela director-general Datuk Kamariah Mohd Noah.
Zahid had earlier joined the congregation at the Chandan Puteri surau for Isyak and terawih prayers.
