Najib slams people who equate government aid to fodder

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today slammed those who equated government aid for the people to fodder.

He said such statements were extreme, more so when they were made during the fasting month of Ramadan.

“The Barisan Nasional government builds schools, houses and roads for the people, and these are not fodder. Fodder is animal feed, and should not be equated to aid. We are sensitive to the people’s needs,” he said in the latest post on his Facebook account.

Najib advised these people to stop making such statements and belittling the government aid for the people.

“People who have no more political capital should not ride on rhetoric and abusive language and belittle aid to the needy,” he said. --BERNAMA
