Cabinet reshuffle: Two full ministers, four new deputy ministers announced [VIDEO]

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced a slew of changes as part of a reshuffled Federal Cabinet.

The reshuffle saw the appointment of two full ministers and four new deputy ministers.

Unveiling the changes today, Najib also announced the retirement of Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Husni Hanadzlah.

He said Husni was retiring for personal reasons and that the government accepted his decision.

The two full ministers are Selangor Umno information chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar, who has been appointed Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister, and Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani, who is now Second Finance Minister

The following is the list of new appointments for the cabinet:

New ministers:

1. Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar

2. Second Finance Minister Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani

Ministers with new portfolios:

1. Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong

2. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan

Deputy ministers with new portfolios:

1. Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong

2. Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong

New Deputy Ministers and new portfolios:

1. Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Othman Aziz

2. Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperatives And Consumerism Minister Datuk Henry Sum Agong

3. Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Datu Nasron Datu Mansur

4. Deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany
