BINTANGOR: A motorcyclist was killed when a car from the opposite direction rammed into his bike at Jalan Bintangor - Sarikei near here.
The victim, identified as Abdul Rahman Hasbullah, died on the spot in the 5pm incident.
A state Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said initial investigations revealed that the car, which came from Sarikei, had skidded and swerved into the opposite lane.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
