KEMAMAN: A 61-year-old security guard was found dead inside his car near a steel mill at Telok Kalong Industrial Area, here, today.
Police believe the victim, identified as Sharai Tahir, had died following a heart complication.
District police chief Superintendent Mohd Said Ibrahim said police were called up to an area behind the mill by the victim's sister, who found the victim's body inside a Perodua Kancil this morning.
He said when Sharai failed to return home last night, his sister decided to check up on him at his workplace about 7.30am.
Initial checks, he added showed no signs of suspicious circumstances and police have so far classified the case as sudden death.
"The victim's remains has been sent for post mortem at the Kemaman Hospital," he said.
