JOHOR BARU: Nurul Ain Zulkurnain, the staff nurse of the Sultanah Aminah Hospital who was injured in a fire yesterday, is not dead.
Johor Health Department director Dr Rooshaimi Merican has rubbished social media claims that the victim had succumbed to her injuries and had died today.
The Permaisuri Johor arrived at the Sultan Ismail Hospital here at 10.30am and visited the ICU where Nurul Ain was warded.
Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah had earlier visited the other two staff of HSA at the Burn Ward and also other patients at the High Dependency Ward, all located on the fourth floor of the hospital.
Accompanying Raja Zarith Sofiah were Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin's wife, Datin Seri Rosni Omar, Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim's consort Che' Puan Khaleeda Bustamam, and HSI director Dr Arbain Lani.
