KUALA LUMPUR: Canon Malaysia has launched what it claims to be the best mirrorless camera in its stable yet.
The EOS M5 is equipped with Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS AF system, and is able to focus on the target twice faster than the previous M3.
The camera’s focus is also able to track multiple moving subjects with precision, thanks to the new DIGIC 7 Image processor for a more detailed shot.
The M5 also comes with an electronic view finder so you really get the feel of using a dSLR camera. The image stabilisation feature makes the camera ideal an ideal vacation buddy for shooting fine videos.
Other key features are the built-in Canon WiFi to connect with media devices and Bluetooth support.
The M5 has a retail price of RM4,699 for body only, RM5,199 for the 15-45mm kit lens, and RM6,399 for the 18.150mm kit lens.
Canon also announced its partnership with Lazada.com to set up an online store channel for its camera range.
