KUALA LUMPUR: P. Maniam has been appointed the new Selangor coach for next season.
The FA of Selangor (FAS) hope the former International can guide their weakened team to a respectable outing in the Super League, which starts on Jan 22.
Maniam was the caretaker coach in 2013 when Irfan Bakti resigned midway of the Malaysia Cup.
He also served as an assistant to Mehmet Durakovic in 2014 and 2015, before resigning to join AirAsia early this year.
