Girl goes missing at Taman Desaria, have you seen her?

PETALING JAYA: A family is seeking help from the public to locate nine-year-old Hamsa Vharshallinee who has been missing since yesterday.

It is learnt that the girl, who was at her grandparents’ home in Taman Desaria here, has been missing after going to the neighbourhood shop to buy ice cream and cakes at about 3.30pm.

Her elder sister, Laraine Juanitha said the family believed that Hamsa had returned home after purchasing the items as the family found them on the table, along with Hamsa’s purse but the girl was nowhere to be seen.

Laraine immediately contacted her mother, S. Anitha Nesamani.

“We have checked with the neighbours and one of them saw my sister walking with a woman but we do not know where they went.

“As of now, we have lodged a police report and we are still waiting for her to come home,” Anitha said when contacted.

The family members have not received any calls demanding for a ransom.

Hamsa, who is the third of four siblings, was wearing a red shirt, black and white skirt and red slippers when she went missing.
