KUALA LUMPUR: Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced its new Peugeot 208 PureTech and 2008 SUV PureTech with a price of RM89,888 and RM109,888 respectively.
Both prices are on-the-road inclusive of insurance. It comes with a five-year or 120,000 km warranty. The first 100 units of each vehicle will receive a three-year or 60,000 km, which ever comes first free service package.
The Peugeot 208 and 2008 SUV are powered by the award winning 1.2 litre PureTech turbocharged engine with automatic start/stop function hooked on a six-speed automatic transmission with Quickshift technology. It is capable to produce 112 HP at 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm.
Both vehicles comes with the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which features a compact sports leather steering, 7-inch HD multifunction colour touchscreen, and a head up instrument panel. Other features include Arkhamys 3D audio system with six speakers, dual zone climate control via touchscreen, versatile modular seats.
For the safety aspects of both models, it comes with six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Electronic Stability Programme, Emergency Brake Assist, Anti-Skid Regulation, Dynamic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and three isofix child seats points.
