North Korean ambassador delusional, spewing lies, says Anifah [VIDEO]

PUTRAJAYA: The North Korean Ambassador to Malaysia continues to be delusional despite the fair investigation into Kim Jong-nam’s murder, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.

Speaking at a press conference here today, Anifah said the “entire world” knew that investigation into the murder of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s estranged brother had been “objective, impartial and also transparent”.

“The ambassador has been informed about the process involved but he continues to be delusional and spew lies and accusations against our government.

“The ambassador must understand the intent and feelings of not only the government but also the people of Malaysia,” he said.

The North Korean envoy Kang Chol had suggested that Malaysia was trying to “conceal” something in the murder case, and had expressed his dissatisfaction with the Foreign Ministry and the police.

His remarks appear to have strained diplomatic relations between North Korea and Malaysia, which resulted in him being summoned by the Foreign Ministry in Putrajaya to explain his accusations.
