KOTA BARU: Pas assemblyman for Chetok, Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman was hospitalised at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital (HUSM) in Kubang Kerian yesterday after suffering from stroke.
According to his wife Noraini Md Matar, Abdul Halim suffered a stroke while driving along Tunjung after sending their daughter to her college in Kok Lanas.
“We are returning to our home when the incident happened about 9am.
“We are lucky that our son managed to send him to HUSM for the treatment in time,” she said.
Noraini said her husband was now in stable condition.
Abdul Halim,56, is the appointed assemblyman for the Chetok constituency since 2008.
