SERDANG: A 21-year-old man was abducted by a group of men from his house in Taman Kinrara, Puchong, early morning Friday.
It was reported that 10 men in two cars, a Proton Waja and a Perodua MyVi, arrived at the victim’s house at about 3am and the men had asked the victim out.
The 10 then pounced on the victim before yanking him into one of the cars and sped off.
Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Megat Mohammad Aminudin Megat Alias said the victim managed to escape three hours later near Sungai Way in Petaling Jaya when the group hauled him out from the car to rough him up.
“He has head injuries and is currently being treated at University Malaya Medical Centre. He is in stable condition.
“We are investigating the case under Section 365 and Section 326 for kidnapping and causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons,” he said, adding that police is investigating the motive behind the incident and declined to comment further.
