KOTA KINABALU: A 54-year-old man from Sandakan was found dead at a hotel room here this morning.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner M. Chandra said a hotel worker found the man dead in his bed.
“Medical personnel reached the hotel at about 6.15 am and police were alerted about ten minutes later.
“There were no signs of physical injuries on the body and there were no weapons around the location,” he said in a statement today.
The body was sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital here for a post-mortem.
