PJ, KL massage parlours raided in anti-vice raids

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 50 people were arrested in separate anti-vice operations - codenamed Ops Noda - at four areas last night.

The raid on the premises located in Petaling Jaya, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur and Serdang was carried out by Selangor police's Special Task Force for Anti-Vice, Gaming and Secret Societies team.

Six massage parlours at Subang Jaya, Selayang and Kota Damansara and two entertainment outlets at Puchong and Kuala Selangor were raided.

Out of 50 people, 44 were foreign women, of whom 24 were Vietnamese, 11 Thai, four Indonesians and Cambodians while one woman from China was working as guest relations worker (GRO).

Four local men and two Bangladeshi customers were arrested and the team also confiscated equipment worth RM1,366 during the raid.

Checks by the officers found that out of the total eight premises, two had no operating license.
