KOTA KINABALU: A hotel manager was found dead with a stab wound to his stomach at the back of his house in Taman Cantek, Lido, here, this morning.
The body of Kok Chan Goir, 67, was discovered by his wife around 9am.
Also found at the location was a blood-covered knife and a letter believed to have been written by the deceased.
In the letter, the deceased asked his children to take care of their mother and asked for forgiveness for not being able to care for them as he had an incurable disease.
District police chief Assistant Commissioner Habibi Majinji confirmed the case.
“The body has been sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital forensics unit for autopsy,” he added.
