KUALA TERENGGANU: A man pleaded guilty at the Sessions Court here yesterday to three sex-related charges involving his 11-year-old daughter.
The 41-year-old father of two admitted to committing incest and having carnal intercourse against the order of nature with his eldest daughter at a house in Marang at about 11am and 5am between Sept 20 and Sept 21.
He also admitted to recording a pornography video of his daughter on his mobile phone.
The accused committed the offences at a house in Marang at about 11am and 5am between Sept 20 and 21.
The accused was charged with incest under Section 376B of the Penal Code, which carries a minimum of 10 years in jail and a maximum of 30 years and caning.
For having carnal intercourse against the order of nature, he was charged under Section 377B of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum of 20 years in jail and caning.
For the video recording, he was charged under Section 5 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries a maximum of 30 years in jail and caning.
The judge set tomorrow for the sentencing.
Deputy public prosecutor Amer Abu Bakar Abdullah appeared for the prosecution while the man was unrepresented.
