LANGKAWI: An American was today charged with sexual harassment of a 11-year-old girl here early last month.
David Matthew Frahm, 46, pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court judge Helmi Ghani.
He was charged with producing sexual material of the minor at an apartment in Kuah, here, about 3.30pm on Feb 1.
It is learnt that Frahm had allegedly filmed the girl, who is his neighbour, when she was bathing in her home.
Deputy public prosecutor Mohd Farhan Aliff Ahmad prosecuted. Cheow Wee and Alvin Lau are representing Frahm.
The prosecution did not offer bail to the accused.
The court set May 6 for mention of the case.
Frahm also pleaded not guilty to a charge of overstaying in the country by more than 1,380 days, at the magistrate's court here.
He was charged in the magistrate's court with committing the offence about 7.10pm on Feb 15 at the same location.
