Cops looking for six suspects in two armed robberies in Klang

SHAH ALAM: Police are on the hunt for six men believed to be responsible for two separate robbery cases in Klang last week.

South Klang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said they are; Mohamad Syrul Suhaimy, 31; Muhammad Harith Mohd Rosly, 18; M. Satisylin, 26; R. Vijendran, 20; B. Logendran, 24 and B. Kervin, 26.

He said Mohamad Syrul’s last known address was Lot 478, Jalan Hassan, Klang while Muhammad Harith’s last known address was at Lot 231 on the same street.

Both were believed to be have used a hammer to rob a Cambodian woman and her two-year-old child in Kampung Sungai Udang, Klang at 7.45 pm on March 23.

Meanwhile, Shamsul Amar said Satisylin, also known Seelan, Vijendran (Vijay), Logendran (Loga) and Kervin (Kevin) were being sought for allegedly robbing a 26-year-old Bangladeshi in Jalan Datuk Abdul Hamid, Klang at 2 pm on March 29.

“In the incident, the victim, who was at home, was approached by four men wearing face masks and armed with a piece of wood and a knife.

“The suspects ran off with four handphones and RM300 belonging to the victim and his friends. They escaped in a white Perodua Alza bearing registration number JQK 6976,” he said in a statement here today.

He said Seelan's last known address was No 6, Lorong Hulubalang 30B Taman Sentosa, Klang; Vijay’s was No 99, Jalan Dato Dagang 29, Taman Sri Sentosa, Klang; Loga’s at No 6, Lorong Dato Dagang 50C KS/7 Taman Sentosa Putri, Klang and Kevin’s last known address was A.3A.26 Vista Bayu Apartment Jalan Batu Unjur 9, Klang.

Both cases were being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.

Shamsul Amar urged those who have information on the six men to contact the district police headquarters at 03-33762222 or the nearest police station. -- Bernama
