SELAYANG: Eight individuals, suspected to be behind the raw water source contamination in Sungai Selangor, arrived at the magistrate's court this morning for their remand hearing.
The suspects, a director of a company repairing and selling construction machinery, his father and six of the company's workers arrived at 9am.
The remand hearing would be conducted before magistrate Nik Mohd Fadli Nik Azlan.
The eight were arrested at 11.30am yesterday in Rawang, Selangor after initial investigations found that the odour detected in Sungai Gong, Rawang, was suspected to have started from the company.
The case is being investigated under Section 430 of the Penal Code.
