PASIR GUDANG: Allegations posted on Facebook that a teenager was abducted from a petrol station in Masai are not true, police confirmed.
On Sunday, a now-deleted video allegedly of a 13-year-old girl being forced into a vehicle went viral, prompting police to initiate investigations.
However, Seri Alam police chief Superintendent Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said the girl returned home about 4pm the same day.
"Investigations revealed that she voluntarily boarded the vehicle, and was on an outing with her school friends.
"We found no evidence of an abduction, and the FB account owner deleted the video post on the same day," he said.
