LANGKAWI: The trial of Langkawi Tourism Association (LTA) CEO Zainudin Kadir in a sexual harassment case has been rescheduled for next month.
Magistrate Nurul Natasha Rizal set Jan 3 for the hearing following a request for postponement by the defence lawyer.
The hearing was fixed today following the completion of case management at the same court on Oct 29.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurfatin Mastura Asri who appeared for the prosecution did not object to the postponement.
Zainudin, 53, is charged under Section 509 of the Penal Code which carries up to five years' imprisonment or a fine, or both upon conviction.
